As a Swiss-based nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on charitable donations from a diverse range of supporters. We are aware of the risks this model entails, including potential threats to the integrity and independence of our work and challenges in effectively fulfilling our mission. We have implemented a stringent Gift Acceptance Policy (GAP) to address these risks to determine which contributions to accept. This policy ensures all donations align with our values of independence, integrity, and equity.

 

We are company-agnostic and steadfastly support causes and ideas without promoting any company directly.

Who funds H-AISA?

A detailed list of our funders is available on our website and is regularly updated to include donations exceeding CHF 10,000. We also publish audited financial statements annually to maintain transparency.

What criteria do you use in your Gift Acceptance Policy (GAP)?

Our GAP evaluates each potential donor based on criteria deeply rooted in our values. We do not accept anonymous donations, although we respect donors' wishes to remain anonymous to the public. We also refuse funding from donors whose reputation or actions conflict with our values or who might compromise our independence and integrity through perceived influence. The GAP process involves assessing the donor’s ethics, commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and any conditions they may impose.

What is H-AISA’s relationship with EPAM?

H-AISA was founded independently and does not receive funding or support from EPAM, despite one of our founding partners being formerly associated with the company.
